My Earliest Memory #399

I remember when I went to Cordoba with all my family, and there were black puppies and I was obsessed with them.
I remember a lot more memories of that trip also.
That I named “my” horse Mariposa!!
Or that there I had my first experience in a carriage.

My Earliest Memory #398

Three bears on a motorcycle.
I was laughing at their hair.
It’s not clear to me whose knee I was balanced upon, but they were jiggling me up and down as I guess they thought that was what was making me laugh.
Probably my Dad or uncle, as they both loved cartoons.
I reckon I was two years old, no older than three.
The Hair Bear Bunch still makes me laugh even though I’m almost 50 now.

My Earliest Memory #397

Aged 8-18 months.
Sitting on floor in collar bone casts and full leg casts.
I remember being so angry.. cuz trying to force my [spinning] top down so it would spin hurt so much when it would bend my collar bone so I was crying and doubled me over and the tears clouded my vision.
As it cleared I remember seeing my grandma approaching me and hearing her voice… “awww what’s wrong little Joey? Can’t be all that bad,” and reached out with her long natural fingernails and tickled my belly… which made me giggle.
And I remember looking past the mounds of my cheeks as I grinned and laughed …like he he he and pulled my arms up t- rex style and leaned to the right a bit.
Then she said, “Here I’ll show you how it works,” and four times with little or no effort raised and lowered the spiral of the top and it spun so fast and I giggled and clasped clapped my hands.
